Natural daylighting promotes health and learning. There are numerous studies that support the incorporation of natural lighting in learning environments. Kalwall is used in many school applications, including classroom window applications that often combine a glazing strip, skylights in halls and cafeterias and clerestories in gymnasiums. The possibilities are endless and all promote positive learning experiences.

Daylight Modeling Service

Kalwall offers daylight modeling at no charge to architects and clients who want to achieve ideal light levels in classroom, gymnasium, natatorium and other school spaces while optimizing material use. Upon receipt of floor plans, roof plans showing skylights and elevations showing all glazing along with an indication of the light levels desired, Daylighting Solutions will submit a request to Kalwall for a corresponding daylight model.
